This is Poliklinik Jalan Oya

Every morning before 730am, there will be patients waiting outside the gate, sqeezing and waiting to rush to get to the ticketing counter.

Once the gate is opened, imagine 100m runner on the field, the crowd are actually running at that speed into the small poliklinik!! it doesnt matter whether you are a 70-year-old elderly or a 8-year-old child, nobody cares at this moment, they will push whoever is blocking their way to the ticketing machine!!!冲冲冲！！！！

elderly patients fell down in a few occasions - not something new.

patients being pick-pocketed - latest case happened just 2 days ago and an old man lost rm700++ (rich old man).

the glass of the reception counter was broken due to patients pushing agaisnt it!!! the reception was just renovated and brand new, lasted for only 3 days.

and the most exagerating that has ever happened til now - a 8-year-old boy's arm was broken due to ppl pushed him agaisnt the counter and his hand was stucked. (according to rumours it was broken, but i saw the boy with bandaged arm, doesnt look that serious, probably sprained...not sure though...)

so, this race happens everyday......when will this end?

well, putting aside the rudeness of some patients, to be fair, this happens becos of the long waiting time that patients have to spend in poliklinik. Get the number first, be the first few patients and save all the queues.

as a patient, the long waiting time is truely inconvenient, not to mention the fact that some doctors dun have time to listen, the need of frequent visit for blood testing, x-ray and medication balance.

as a doctor/nurse, they have already tried their very best in giving services to patients. how many doctors we have? 3 permenant + 1 visiting doctor from hospital to treat almost 500 patients per day, which means an average of 100++ patients per doctor? and u expect it to have quality?

as a pharmacist, phew...........too many words in my brain now that i dunno where to start wif , i can write a long post just for the life as a pharmacist in this poliklinik. low stock, IOUs, short of staffs (imagine 5 staffs at the counter to handle 500 new patients + 200 IOUs, tell me, where else has such a low manpower as we have here??????) , enormous high number of patients, rude patients, complaining patients, pressure from doctors/bosses etc etc etc etc etc blablablabalabalbalablaa..................too many grumbles....dun 1 2 write it down here or else this post will be getting too stressful...

so, problems!! lotsa problems!!! when will those high up start to see these problems and give us a hand in solving them??? dream...keep on struggling and dreaming......
