patient #3

i treated an ah pek patient badly yesterday. so, 2day i started my working day with the aim of treating all my patients super good.

3rd patient tht i met this morning....

i gave her 4 boxes of sodium valproate

she: i dun want 4 boxes of this, js give me 3 boxes.
me: are u sure u have enuf medic at home? how many are u taking everyday?
she: yes, i have a lot at home. i am taking 2 tablets at night.
me: but the doc asks u to take 2 in the morning and 2 at night.
she: ai ya, the doc doesnt know 1 la. i know, i want to take 2 at night. so, take this box away!
me: ok.

then, give her diazepam

me: so, this take 2 tabs at night
she: i only take 1, i dun need 2 tabs, 1 tab is enuf, or else i will feel drowsy the next morn.
me: ok, if 1 is suffiecient for u, then it's ok.
she: wat will happen if i take too much of this? can die??
me: har??
she: if can die, i want to eat. i want to die.
me: .....if 1 is enuf for u, js tk one, dun have to take too much.

then, give her difflam gargle

me: this is for gargle, do not swallow.
she: bukan untuk ditelan ya?? ok, i know.
she: so, if telan how?? can die?? if can die, i telan!! i telan a lot so tht i will die. i want to die.
me: no no. u won die.

then, quickly give her the rest of medicines.

she: ok, thank you.
....and shake hand wif me.

i was thinking whether to shake or not...but i think i better dun irrate her, so, i shake hand wif her.

as soon as she left....wash hand!!!!! wash wash wash....gong~~~
